Rap Glossary

Here, I’ve started a tentative glossary of words / phrases used in rap music and communities of the US. Many of the words can also be found within, and actually come from, AAVE (African American Vernacular English). I’m constructing the definitions myself, researching where I need to, and depending on my experience of listening to the genre for many years, so take them with a grain of salt.

❕ Disclaimer: There are words / phrases of offensive nature, and I include them here for a more inclusive glossary of informational purposes.
